This medical conference is accredited for physicians, dietitians, nurses, and pharmacists. Other attendees can receive a general certificate of attendance.

Physicians and Physician Assistants

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences will designate this live activity for a maximum of 20 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Dietitians and Dietetic Technicians

This program will be submitted to the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) for Continuing Professional Education Units (CPEUs). 

Nurses and Nurse Practitioners

This nursing continuing professional development activity will be submitted to the Virginia Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. 

American Board of Lifestyle Medicine

This activity is approved for maintenance of certification for American Board of Lifestyle Medicine practitioners.

American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program

Successful completion of this CME activity enables the participant to earn up to 20 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program.

Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians

The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This activity will be submitted for 20 CPE hours.
