Plant-Based Diets May Improve Physical Attractiveness
A plant-based diet may improve human attractiveness, according to a new narrative review. The paper highlights research showing that avoiding meat can improve sweat odor; carotenoids in fruits and vegetables benefit skin color; complex carbohydrates slow signs of aging; and a healthy body weight, which may be achieved with a plant-based diet, is correlated with greater attractiveness. The desire to improve one’s appearance may motivate health behaviors like adopting a plant-based diet.
