This class draws from the popular book Your Body in Balance: The New Science of Food, Hormones, and Health by Neal Barnard, MD. It was developed as part of the Food for Life program, by physicians and dieticians at the nonprofit Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM), which works to promote disease prevention and survival through nutrition.

Evidence suggests that a plant-based diet can help improve moodiness and more serious mood problems such as anxiety and depression. This class will feature an educational video and cooking demonstrations of easy and affordable recipes.
