Save the Monkeys

We need your help to stop this travesty and instead send these monkeys to an appropriate sanctuary.

Update: The monkeys have not been shipped back to Cambodia! They are being held in Houston, awaiting their fate. Thanks to your phone calls, the FWS phone number continues to crash.

Please keep the pressure on FWS by emailing Bridget Fahey at bridget_fahey [at] fws.gov (bridget_fahey[at]fws[dot]gov) to demand the monkeys are released to sanctuary. Then leave a message with the FWS Office of External Affairs at 202-208-6541 asking them to do the same. Thank you for taking action!

We've learned that notorious monkey trafficker Charles River Laboratories intends to truck about 1,000 endangered, illegally-imported long-tailed macaques from Houston to Dulles Airport in Washington, D.C., Tuesday ;morning where they will be put on the next flight back to Cambodia to be returned to the smuggling pipeline for the experimentation industry—apparently with the blessing of U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) and the Department of Justice (DOJ).

Please take action now:

Call Bridget Fahey (FWS) at 703-358-2163 to urge that these monkeys be sent to a sanctuary.
