Joyce Meaden
Food for Life Instructor
After teaching middle school math for more than three decades, Joyce retired from teaching. For the past decade, she and her husband have enjoyed attending plant-based events, and since retirement, they attend at least four events each year. These events have given Joyce the opportunity to continue learning about the plant-based world and to share what she learns with inquisitive friends and family who often join them.
With teaching in her blood, Joyce has continued to share her knowledge and enthusiasm with others. She has started the ball rolling!
Joyce decided that the next natural step for her would be to become a Food For Life instructor. This license will pair nicely with her Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies through eCornell.
In her free time, Joyce enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, outings with her husband, playing pickleball, and making new connections.
