Michelle Snyder
Food for Life Instructor
Michelle is a licensed instructor with the Physician’s Committee for Responsible Medicine’s Food for Life program and has followed a plant focused lifestyle since her early twenties, a change that began in college after her friend was diagnosed with cancer and had switched to a plant based diet to support her recovery.
After eliminating red meat and dairy, then eggs, fish, and ultimately chicken before becoming fully plant based, Michelle discovered that the myriad stomach issues she had struggled with since she was a child disappeared. Although she followed a plant based diet, she continued to cook with oil and consumed saturated fats for several years. After a high cholesterol scare, in 2021, Michelle eliminated added oils and saturated fats entirely, lowering her cholesterol by nearly 100 points.
Today, Michelle is passionate about sharing her experience and inspiring others to see how powerful nutrition and lifestyle changes can be for long term health and wellness.
