Cori Oliver, RN
Food for Life Instructor
Cori Oliver, BSN, RN, is a registered nurse with nearly 20 years of experience in cardiovascular and surgical nursing, including extensive work in high-acuity hospital settings and cardiac care. Throughout her nursing career, she witnessed firsthand the impact that lifestyle-related diseases, such as heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, and obesity have on patients and families. After adopting a plant-based lifestyle over a decade ago, Cori became passionate about the role nutrition can play in disease prevention and long-term wellness. Her clinical background, combined with her personal health journey, inspired her to pursue nutrition education and community outreach. Cori is a licensed Food for Life instructor through the Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM). She aims to empower others with practical, realistic strategies for improving health through plant-based nutrition and sustainable lifestyle change.
