Shauné Hayes
Food for Life Instructor

Shauné is a passionate advocate for the healing power of whole plant foods and movement. Her wellness journey began in 2017 when she set out to reclaim her health after battling chronic illnesses related to obesity. Through a gradual and sustainable transition to a whole food, plant-based lifestyle, she has lost 127 pounds and successfully reversed several health conditions, including stage 1 hypertension, prediabetes, borderline high cholesterol, chronic arthritis, lower limb muscle fatigue, joint pain, chronic acid reflux, and PCOS.
Her personal transformation inspired a deep commitment to helping others take charge of their health through education, community, and practical lifestyle changes. In addition to being a Certified Food for Life Instructor, Shauné holds a Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and is a Certified Health Coach through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute. She is also certified by Forks Over Knives and Rouxbe Culinary School, and most recently became a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM, expanding her ability to support others in achieving total-body wellness.
Shauné is currently preparing to open a plant-based nutrition and culinary center, where individuals and families can attend in-person classes focused on cooking, wellness, and disease prevention. Her mission is to make healthful living more accessible by showing that plant-based meals can be simple, practical, delicious, and fun. She believes wholeheartedly in the power of food and movement to prevent, treat, and even reverse chronic disease—and she brings compassion, joy, and real-life experience to every class she teaches.
