Vegan Diets Abundant in Nutrients

A letter in Kaiser Permanente’s journal points out the robust nutrition provided by plant-based diets. Written by Drs. John and Craig McDougall, the detailed letter points to their wealth of experience with plant-based (vegan) diets, highlighting the plethora of evidence of nutritional advantages. Contrary to popular myths, protein, iron, calcium, and all other nutrient needs are easily met on plant-based diets.
