Food Industry Influence in Nutrition Research Exposed

Food industry funding influences research, according to an investigation published in JAMA Internal Medicine. The authors uncovered correspondence and other documentation that exposed the sugar industry’s influence on scientific results. An accompanying commentary published in the same journal supports these findings with a historic overview of various industries’, including meat and dairy, attempts to skew research in their favor.
