In this special episode of The Exam Room™, “The Weight Loss Champion” Chuck Carroll sits down to dinner with someone who has never eaten a plant-based meal in their life, let alone for Thanksgiving! We pulled out all the stops for this and had the food catered by Michael Moon of the Washington-based DC Vegan, who whipped up an out-of-this-world feast of veganized classics! Will the plant-based mac and “cheese,” green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie be able to satisfy a skeptic? Let the games begin!

We also share tips on navigating a non-plant-based Thanksgiving dinner and how to get the most stalwart turkey aficionados to take a closer look at the health benefits of a plant-based diet. Hopefully, this dialogue will lead to a more harmonious dinner and healthy conversation for dessert!
