I wanted to become a vegetarian for many years. On a significant birthday I did a 21 day Daniel Fast, a vegan eating plan, and I was completely healed of a lifelong health issue, had more energy than I could imagine, and felt alive and vibrant again. I adopted a vegetarian lifestyle and began my journey of plant-based living. I became a certified cooking instructor and began teaching children about nutrition and healthy cooking; however, I soon realized that I need to teach families, not just the children. I shifted my focus to nutrition and the healing power of plants. I became a certified health coach and diabetes educator. Since moving to a small town,  I noticed the significant number of people who are suffering with diabetes. I know the power of a plant-based lifestyle and I want to share with my community and others how to make tasty and delicious food that can help them lead lives of health and vitality.
