Paul Turcotte
Food for Life Instructor

Paul lost 100 pounds when he stopped eating meat, eggs, and dairy products, proving to himself that diets don’t work; however, changing your lifestyle does. That was 2012, and he has never looked back.
Paul became a licensed Food For Life Instructor. A program created by the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine to educate people about food and its direct impact on health. He strives to inspire others by teaching and coaching on how to take charge of your health through scientifically proven, nutritionally sound, and completely plant-focused offerings. Paul is a Graduate of the T. Colin Campbell Plant-Based Nutrition Program and is Certified as a Rouxbe Plant-Based Professional. He is a lifestyle coach and animal advocate who loves cooking with plants.
Paul is an entrepreneur with experience in real estate, marketing, sales, and food service. He studied music at Boston Conservatory and supported himself as a bartender, later to become the Director of the New England Bartender’s School, which led to restaurant wine sales consulting and a disastrous downtown Boston restaurant partnership.
In 1999, he started a real estate company that grew to over seventy sales associates in two offices serving Cambridge and Boston, Massachusetts. As the business owner and broker of record, he was responsible for all operations, including a positive and vibrant company culture. The company was sold in 2019, although he continued to work as a consultant for several years.
His late wife of twenty-four years, Sharon, inspired him to take charge of his health before she passed from cancer. Paul remarried in 2017 and moved to Florida, where he and his partner, Bonnie Brown, continue to share a commitment to inspire and encourage people to improve their health and support the environment by participating in the vision of an animal-free food system.
Paul and Bonnie love the beach and live on the Gulf Coast of Florida in Sarasota County.
