Lisa Rose changed her life and wants to help you change yours! After watching "Forks Over Knives" and "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead," she adopted a plant-based diet and gained an active lifestyle. She lost 40 pounds, normalized her cholesterol, ditched her pack-a-day smoking habit, and began running. With more energy -- and a passion to share the benefits of a vegan lifestyle -- she co-founded The Erie Vegan and Vegetarian Society, organized the first VegFest in Erie, PA, became a Food for Life instructor and vegan lifestyle coach through VeganCheers, her business that offers kitchen and pantry rescues, in-home coaching, motivational speaking, and classes in and around the Erie area. Because of her life-changing experience, plus her certificates in plant-based nutrition and cooking, Lisa can give you the tools to prepare and enjoy delicious dishes with more vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and legumes.
