Food for Life Instructor

Laurie has always loved to cook and thought she was feeding her family healthy food until her husband came across the documentary Forks Over Knives. Although Laurie didn’t want to give up the only way she knew how to cook her husband convinced her to try a plant-based diet for a month. That was nearly 5 years ago and now Laurie is passionate about teaching others how to improve their health, energy, and lose weight for life on a whole food plant-based lifestyle. Laurie is certified through Rouxbe’s online Forks Over Knives Cooking Course, certified in Plant-Based Nutrition from T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies, eCornell University and loves teaching Food for Life classes in Northeast Indiana.
