Kim’s life changed dramatically when she and her husband, Marc, began a vegan lifestyle in 2011. They both lost weight and felt more energetic. Marc reversed type 2 diabetes and stopped taking five medications. By conquering this devastating disease, the well-being of their entire family improved. They no longer felt like victims of heartbreaking issues associated with diabetes and became thrilled about the years to come. Now, Kim strives to share her knowledge about nutrition with others.
Kim has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, a teaching certificate, a certificate in Plant Based Nutrition, and is a co-founder of Chickpea and Bean, Inc. She is also a certified Food for Life instructor and teaches classes in southeastern Michigan.
