Kelley became a Food for Life instructor following a serious medical prognosis that affected her fiancé. This prompted them to change their diets. It was through studying nutrition and attending a plant-based program that Kelley was able to help her fiancé overcome high levels of cholesterol and plaque growth in his arteries.
Growing up in Kansas, Kelley found her passion for cooking while preparing meals for her family and friends. She has since adapted these recipes to support her healthful plant-based lifestyle.
Her passion for a plant-based lifestyle has been inspiring to many, including her 88-year-old grandmother.
