Heather discovered the benefits of a plant-based diet in 2011 when searching for a solution to high cholesterol. The proof was in the lab work and after watching the cholesterol numbers drop for her and her husband. Inspired by her personal experience and similar stories of others around the country, Heather became a Food For Life Instructor in 2012. After watching so many people improve their health in Food For Life classes, Heather decided to go back to school and become a Registered Dietitian. She founded Kailo Nutrition in Jacksonville, Florida and currently loving every minute of her career change as a Registered Dietitian in private practice. In addition to offering Food For Life classes in the Northeast Florida area, she also offers private culinary coaching in the comfort of people’s homes and personal chef services for those who are too busy or unable to prepare meals themselves.
