Ellen Jaffe Jones
Food for Life Instructor

Ellen Jaffe Jones is a nationally ranked sprinter. She has placed in 334 5K or longer races for her age group since 2006. Someone told her that it’s impossible to compete as a vegan, so she set out to set the record straight in this now unmatched achievement.
According to several tests, she has the fitness of a 20-year-old. Her mom, aunt and both sisters had breast cancer. Her family was part of the BRCA1/BRCA2 gene studies. She's the only adult female in her family without. Running vegan for 45 years, she’s often the one one in her age group. Other racers demand to know her secret.
Ellen is 72, a personal trainer, running and health coach and has been with Food for Life since it’s inception. A former 2-time Emmy-winning TV investigative/consumer reporter from Miami, Ellen speaks frequently about the topics of her six books and longevity.
