Food for Life Instructor
Ella became a Food for Life instructor in the hopes of sharing the benefits of a plant-based diet with anyone who wants to listen. Her path toward plant-based nutrition started in her early 30’s. As a mother of two young toddlers, Ella was faced with a cancer health scare. After all the doctors’ visits and tests, left her with many unanswered questions, Ella decided to do her own research and read anything she could get her hands on. After listening to many lectures on YouTube and reading lots of books, all her findings were heading in the same direction: a plant-based diet.
Ella decided to expand her nutrition knowledge and thus, she completed the Whole Foods Plant-Based Nutrition program from eCornell University. Pleasantly surprised by what she learned and being an educator at heart, she immediately wanted to share all she's learned with others and went on to become a Food For Life Instructor.
Ella lives in RI with her husband and two kids and created www.plantbasedella.com as a place to offer information about a plant-based way of eating to anyone interested in starting this journey for their health, environment, or animal welfare.
