Elizabeth is the Founder and Director of Preventionistas, a Lifestyle Medicine education and health coaching practice dedicated to preventing chronic disease through sustainable diet and lifestyle change. With 30 years of clinical experience as a dental hygienist in the U.S. and Switzerland, she transitioned into public health to address the root causes of illness.
Elizabeth empowers her clients to lower their risk of heart disease, diabetes, and other chronic conditions through Food for Life nutrition and cooking classes grounded in evidence-based science. She guides participants through the American College of Lifestyle Medicine’s six pillars — of health which includes a whole-food plant-based dietary pattern — while respecting each person’s readiness for change.
A Diplomate Practitioner of Lifestyle Medicine, eCornell-certified plant-based nutrition educator, and National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach, Elizabeth partners with healthcare providers, corporations, and interested individuals to deliver practical programs that improve health outcomes and help reduce long-term healthcare costs.
Serving cities and surrounding areas of Elizabeth partners with healthcare providers and oral health professionals who embrace Lifestyle Medicine as a trusted collaborator for sustainable patient health behavior change. She also supports organizations through corporate wellness initiatives focused on reducing risk factors, lowering healthcare costs, and preventing unnecessary suffering via improved oral-systemic health and evidence-based lifestyle improvements.
