Deb comes to the Food for Life program with a background in teaching high school science. She has been vegetarian for about nine years, and over the past two years, she has become passionate about the benefits of eating a plant-based diet. Reading the books The China Study and Whole convinced her to explore the research and led her to the Physicians Committee. She is excited to combine her love for learning with a passion for helping others in their quest to feel better and live healthy lives.
Deb plans on working with both adults and young people, encouraging not only those who may have experienced illnesses, but also educating young people and empowering them to take charge of their health from an early age.
