David Stroka

David Stroka has been a chef for over 25 years and vegan for over 20 years. He grew up spending time in his grandmother’s kitchen, which is where he found his passion for cooking. This passion for food, including fatty foods and meat, pushed David to balloon to 425 pounds. It was at that point that he decided to make some dietary changes. After reading John Robbin’s book, A Diet for a New America, David went vegan and never looked back. Since then, he has shaved the weight off and kept it off with very little effort. He is excited to share his love of food, the importance of a plant based diet in overall health, and to show people vegans are vibrant, energetic, and fulfilled people.
