Food for Life Institution

CSKT Tribal Health

The CSKT Tribal Health Department’s Public Health Division promotes wellness through prevention, education, and culturally grounded care. Its Lifestyle Medicine and Nutrition programs focus on addressing the root causes of chronic disease through healthy eating, physical activity, stress management, sleep, and connection. Initiatives such as Food for Life classes support individuals and families in making sustainable, health-promoting changes. By blending evidence-based practices with traditional values, the division empowers the Tribal community to lead healthier, more balanced lives.

Currently, we have two instructors for Food for Life - Chelsea Kleinmeyer, RN and Kati Burton, RDN.

Serving cities and surrounding areas of Flathead Reservation (only for individuals eligible for services at CSKT Tribal Health).
