Let's Beat Breast Cancer

For women and men, the risk factors for breast cancer cases can be reduced. After treatment, lifestyle choices can also reduce the risks of recurrence. Learn about how you can improve your odds of beating breast cancer with physician Dr Nora E. Hanke, who will share information from the Physicians Committee's Food For Life curriculum in a 2-hour, interactive class. We will have discussion, view an educational video, there will be cooking demonstrations, and everyone gets to taste dishes that help us  reduce the risks of and fight breast cancer recurrence. Participants go home with written materials including the recipes. 

The intended audience are breast cancer survivors, their family and friends, and those wishing to reduce their chances of breast cancer. Both men and women are welcome!
