Class Dates
This class will focus on foods that boost mood while alleviating moodiness and anxiety. Studies show improvements in affect, alertness and focus when following a plant-based diet. Anti-inflammatory foods, including fruits and vegetables, combined with a high fiber diet boosts metabolism, and fosters healthy gut bacteria. We will discuss how these changes lead to remarkably favorable effects in the brain.
This class features an informative video, group discussion and cooking demonstrations, along with handouts of easy and affordable recipes participants can prepare at home. Recipes and handouts will be provided a few days prior to class. Pre-registration is required at least 24 hours in advance.
