Plant-based foods are beneficial for the brain and may help prevent Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.  

 

Drawing from the book Power Foods for the Brain by Neal Barnard, MD, FACC, this class will shine a light on how to maintain brain function and minimize the risk of cognitive decline through a low-fat plant-based diet. 

 

This two-hour class features a video, handouts, discussion, and a cooking demonstration of three delicious recipes made from a selection of brain-power foods that are affordable and easy to prepare at home.
