Overview: When cancer researchers started to look for links between diet and cancer, one of the most noticeable findings was that people who avoided meat and dairy products were much less likely to develop the disease. In this class, you’ll learn what happens when consuming dairy products and why meat has been linked to cancer and other illnesses. You’ll also learn what happens when meat gets exposed to high cooking temperatures.
In this class, you will explore a variety of vegan sources of protein, all of which are low in fat, high in fiber, and loaded with cancer fighting nutrients.
During the class, you’ll learn how to make three easy and delicious recipes low in fat and high in fiber. Participants will also receive before and after class literature, handouts and a copy of all three recipes demonstrated in class.
