Introduction to How Foods Fight Cancer
Tuesday, November 28, 2023 6:00pm to 8:00pm

It is known that certain dietary patterns seem to have a major effect in helping people diagnosed with cancer to live longer, healthier lives.  The National Cancer Institute research shows that as much as 33% of cancer risk may be related to diet.  In this class, you will learn about the right food choices that can help reduce the risk of cancer and prevent recurrence.  This single class meeting is facilitated by Rene Pere, Licensed Food for Life Instructor, Occupational Therapist who is board certified in Lifestyle Medicine.  This class includes 3 food demonstrations including samples, and provides evidence-based education on healthy plant-based options for fighting cancer.
