Looking forward to sharing not one but two informative Plant-Based Nutrition and Cooking Classes: Intro to Foods that Fight Diabetes and Diabetes Care Head to Toe - on Sunday Dec 3rd 1-4pmET in Port Washington NY.
The goal of this Food for Life Diabetes class is to empower people who have diabetes and those concerned about developing diabetes with new information and skills. This program offers a unique opportunity to acquire knowledge about the link between diet and Diabetes, learn about the benefits of plant-based nutrition, and practical cooking skills needed to help you on your journey to better health.
This 3-hour in-person program includes videos and handouts for both topics as well as 5 recipes in a small supportive group setting in a fully plant-based home kitchen setting. Space is limited to 6 participants for added space and the time to answer questions. Pre-registration is required at least 24 hours in advance. Class location in Port Washington will be shared prior to class for those that register. Hope you can join us!
