Class Dates
This series of classes will provide information about how certain foods and nutrients work to promote health and fight disease. Each class will provide nutritional information and a cooking demonstration—both within a supportive group setting. The first class with focus on foods for a healthy heart and shows the critical role of healthful eating to prevent, manage, and even reverse heart disease. The second class with share the life-changing benefits of a plant-based nutrition approach for diabetes management and prevention. The third class with focus on the power of foods for the brain and introduces plant-based foods for prevention of Alzheimer’s disease and overall health of the aging brain. The fourth class with focus on the link between our diet and cancer. The final class is a potluck for everyone to showcase their plant based cooking skills.
