The Food For Life Power of Your Plate cooking class introduces participants to a journey toward healthy weight loss, healthy weight maintenance, and an overall healthful and sustainable diet. In this class, we will discuss how incorporating more plants into your diet can not only lead to maintaining a healthy weight without restriction, but can help to lower cholesterol, control diabetes, lower blood pressure, and even boost energy and mood. We will also have a virtual cooking demonstration of some easy plant-based recipes, and you're welcome to cook along at home!
The Power of Your Plate class is the first in the Kickstart Your Health series, which we will offer in early 2023.
