Wellness Weekend for Women
Need time away to concentrate on your health and wellness? Join us at beautiful Pipestem State Park on April 8 & 9 for a weekend of learning about nutrition and the power of your plate.
Brenda Workman, Food for Life Instructor & Plant Based Enthusiast, will share important information from the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. She will explain the health benefits of a plant-based diet and how to make this a lifestyle. Cooking demos via video will be shared, as well as recipes. Delicious plant-based meals will be served at this event.
Caroline Simmons, Fitness Coach/Trainer/Instructor & Health Pro will be there to talk about the importance of movement in our lives. She will also lead us in Friday night’s dance party & Saturday’s stretches (for those who want to and are able to participate).
The Conference begins at 7PM on Friday evening and will conclude at 4PM on Saturday afternoon.
Cost is $78 for the weekend (this includes Saturday’s breakfast and lunch). Early bird special is $65 until January 29, 2022. Groups 10 or more will be $65 each through the registration.
If you wish to stay overnight at Pipestem State Park on Friday, April 8th, you will be responsible to call and make your own reservations. Blocks of rooms are being held for the Wellness Weekend for Women participants until February 24, 2022 for $109.00. After February 24, 2022, the rooms will be released to sell to the general public. Call now at 304-466-1800 and get your room reserved.
The room price is separate from the registration fee. Registering does not secure you a room.
You may want to plan to come earlier on Friday or stay later on Saturday and take a hike on one of Pipestem’s hiking trails.
