Maintaining a Healthy Weight
Healthy weight control is essential for warding off a variety of chronic diseases. Studies have shown that slimmer people are even less likely to develop cancer, compared with their heavier counterparts. In addition, trimming excess weight may also improve survival after cancer has been diagnosed. This class will discuss and demonstrate fiber- and nutrient-rich dishes that will help you maintain a healthy weight
In this 90 minute class attendees will learn about the right food choices that can help reduce the risk of developing cancer as well as preventing recurrence. We will enjoy educational cooking demonstrations of 3 delicious healthful dishes, reviewing useful handouts and recipes, all in a supportive online group setting.

Each class includes live food demos and hands-on cooking with Stefanie's in-depth food prep knowledge, Q&A, recipes, educational materials all in a supportive group.
Recipes are designed to work for people on a budget who may also have minimal time or access to equipment. More importantly, every class and each ingredient supports a low-fat, plant-based diet plan that has been proven to prevent, manage, and in some cases reverse chronic diseases such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, autoimmune disease, obesity, and even some forms of cancer.
