Foods and Breast Cancer Survival
Wednesday, October 14, 2020 06:00 PM to 08:00 PM

Certain diet patterns seem to have a major effect in helping people diagnosed with cancer to live longer, healthier lives.

In this class you will learn about the right food choices that can help reduce the risk of developing cancer as well as prevent a recurrence.

Many teams of researchers have been investigating how food choices can help prevent cancer and improve survival once it has been diagnosed. Numerous studies have shown that a diet built from plant foods offers the most cancer-fighting protection of any diet plan. The research from the American Institute for Cancer Research shows that as much as 40% of cancer risk may be related to diet.

This class will translate complex scientific nutrition information into simple and easy meals. This class features a nutrition lecture and live cooking demonstration all within a supportive group setting.
