REPLACING MEAT

The Food for Life: Cancer Project classes include information about how certain foods and nutrients work to promote or discourage cancer growth.

In Replacing Meat, you will discover a variety of plant-based sources of protein, all of which are low in fat, high in fiber, and loaded with cancer-fighting nutrients.

There are many delicious forms of plant protein that are much healthier than meat from animals, which produces carcinogens when cooked at high heat. Red and processed meats—like bacon, hot dogs, and deli meat—contain harmful substances that can lead to colorectal cancer.

This class is 90 minutes in length and includes a short video segment with medical professionals, as well as a cooking demonstration with three recipes. You will receive the Zoom link plus all recipes and other educational materials via email. Take this class as a stand-alone session or take the 4-part "Let's Beat Breast Cancer" series for the best value (save $25 on the total cost).
