Comorbidities have been cited as the most common cause for those developing serious cases of Covid-19, and some populations, such as the Black and Latinx communities, have been disproportionately affected by this disease. These comorbidities include obesity, high blood pressure, and type 2 diabetes, which are affecting many of us today. This 4-class series will help you learn which foods help to boost your immune system, prevent and reverse these diseases, and reduce your risk of becoming seriously ill with Covid-19. Each 2-hour class will feature a video presentation with Physicians Committee founder Dr. Neal Barnard, as well as a demonstration of 3 easy and delicious recipes that you can prepare at home. The Zoom link will be emailed out through Eventbrite the day of the class along with the recipes. Classes are Wednesday evenings from 4-6, and you will have the option to review any information missed in a prior class if you cannot make it to one of them. Hope to see you there!
