The road to diabetes doesn't have to be a one-way street. There is reason for hope!

People who eat plant-based meals are less likely to ever develop diabetes, and for those who have diabetes, plant-based meals can help to improve blood sugar levels and prevent complications. 

 

The beauty of low-fat, plant-based diet is that it actually works on the root of the problem - the cause of diabetes - as opposed to the symptoms. With this dietary approach, the body can actually start to function properly again on its own. Possible outcomes include reduced medication and reversal of complications often associated with diabetes.
