Join me for a class on how a healthful diet will reduce your risk of developing a thyroid disorder.

The thyroid gland regulates our body’s use of energy. If it is not producing enough hormone, you will feel sluggish. Too much hormone and you feel revved up with a rapid heart rate and other symptoms. This class will set you on the right foot for following a healthful diet, to support your thyroid if you have a diagnosed thyroid disorder or to reduce your risk of developing one.

This healthy cooking class is part of a series on balancing the effect of hormones on our bodies and our lives. It offers research-based nutrition and health information, whole-food, plant-based cooking demos of three recipes, handouts and recipe, and a supportive community.
