The PCRM Food for Life: Cancer Project class series offers a unique opportunity to acquire knowledge about the link between diet and cancer and learn about the benefits of plant-based nutrition along with practical cooking skills to improve your health, all in a supportive small group setting. The class covers both nutrition and cooking instruction, sharing the benefits of high fiber/low fat foods loaded with phytochemicals, as well as recipes and handouts, all in a supportive small group atmosphere. This program will cover nutrition education and a few recipes in a convenient 2-day class format taught over 1 weekend, Saturday February 29th and Sunday March 1st, from 1-4pm. The program includes: Introduction to Foods that Fight Cancer, Cancer-Fighting Compounds and Immune-Boosting Foods, Foods and Breast Cancer Survival plus Cancer-Fighting Compounds and Healthy Weight Control. limited seating. This 2 day class series will cover all 4 Cancer Project topics.
