We can all benefit from a strong immune system, especially if you are trying to prevent or recover from cancer! This class will give you nutrition information and recipe ideas to incorporate immune boosting plant foods into your diet. Once you lower your fat intake and boost your fiber intake, you can experience weight loss as well! The class includes a nutrition lesson and a plant-based cooking demonstration. We will sample lots of tasty food, so come hungry! Recipes include: easy bean salad, black bean dip with tortilla chips, veggies in a blanket and sampling of nondairy milks.
