Cooking demonstration/class(s), movie night to watch a documentary complete with Jill's favorite popcorn, curriculum from Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) for: diabetes, cancer, & weight loss, free recipes to take home, walking to the lighthouse, Strategic planning for new routines and habits, and time to plan your meals post-retreat.
Beautiful river view home, at North Beach, in South Haven, Michigan. Your hostess, Jill Keb, has been having fabulous 'walk on the beach' weekend retreats for 11 plus years.
You'll be provided with direction and time to work on the STRATEGY & SYSTEMS to get you on a trajectory towards your most optimal health.
Retreats start on Friday night and end on Sunday after lunch. Guests arrive when they can anytime after 2 pm usually. Guests get settled into their room and have free time until about 5:30 pm.
Hors D'oeuvre and specialty drinks are served before dinner. A presentation will be given after dinner along with group time to discuss. Bringing a pretty note book for the weekend is recommended.
Saturday and Sunday morning, we start the day with options for coffee, tea, and smoothies. Guests have an opportunity to get involved with recipes thereby increasing the likelihood for familiarity and home preparation.
Walking to the lighthouse is on the list for those who wish to participate. Additional options at the wellness center are also available. Kick start your health curriculum will be condensed over the weekend.

Guests are also free to opt-out of parts of the agenda and simply do their own thing. Shopping in town or driving to a nearby health food store have been the most popular ways guests have chosen to spend their "downtime" on Saturday afternoon.
For a small day fee: our world-class 5 million dollar wellness center can be attended for yoga, Zumba, kickboxing, cardio and other classes, weights workout, walk on the treadmill, swim, sauna, steam room, massage, etc.
Jill Keb is a Certified Food Educator from the Food Studies Institute in N.Y. as well as a Food For Life Instructor with the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. With a B.A. in Psychology, Keb teaches the healing and restorative powers of whole plant foods.
She is the author and producer of the 80 minute 2005 DVD: "Change Your Food, Change Your Life" and founder of VeganGal.com as well as HealthyFactsInc.com. You can find hundreds of her recipes online. She enjoys encouraging people towards a plant-based diet for the amazing health benefits such as clearer arteries and better energy and mood.
