Celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month with the Food for Life Cancer Project. This intensive seminar looks at how certain foods have a major effect in helping people diagnosed with cancer live longer, healthier lives. Research shows that as much as 33% of cancer risk may be related to diet.We will also look at how fat can suppress the immune system; ways to improve the body's immune system with cancer-fighting compounds; and, how to reach a healthy weight to ward-off chronic disease. Finally, there will be discussion on breast cancer prevention and survival. Men are welcome and encouraged to attend. Price is $35 per person.
