FOOD FOR LIFE: Eating Healthy On a Budget
In this 4-week, vegan, gluten-free, cooking demonstration course, you will learn how choosing plant-based foods—fruits, vegetables, whole-grains, and beans—saves money and your health. Enjoy tasting delicious, nutritious dishes in a supportive group setting, get tips on planning a menu, and discover the relationship between diet and diseases like obesity, diabetes, and heart attacks. Curriculum based on The Physicians Committee’s successful national Food For Life program. Instructor is a certified Food For Life instructor.

(Parking for the venue is easy--enter the only fenced parking lot at the intersection of the school address, park and then cross the street to the school, come up the north side walk and steps to enter the building, come up the steps inside and enter the first or second classroom to your left.)

Please bring your own plate, bowl, cup, and utensils to class each week to reduce cost and waste of disposables.
Curriculum based on Dr. Neal Barnard M.D. and The Physicians Committee’s successful national Food For Life: Healthy Basics program which is focused on making a qualitative, as opposed to a quantitative, shift in the way you eat.
