Monday, February 4, 2019 06:00 PM to 08:00 PM

Every day we see another study drawing the connection between food and disease closer. Certain diet patterns have a major effect in helping cancer survivors to live longer, and healthier lives. This cancer class will discuss power foods to eat for cancer prevention and foods to eat before, during and after a cancer diagnosis. Class will demo three plant-based nutritious recipes: Rustic white bean spread, Italian bean soup and chocolate mousse and included the nutrition handouts on the science behind why certain foods are powerful fighters against disease.
