The Food for Life: Kids Health class is part of Camp Compassion at Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge. The camp runs from 9a-4p with Food for Life from 11a-1p. "Camp Compassion is a hands-on outdoor camp appropriate for ages 7–12. Campers are involved in learning about, interacting with, and helping to care for rescued farm animals including goats, sheep, chicken, turkeys, and ducks! Healthy plant-based cooking instruction through the Food for Life: Kids program is a daily activity. A full lunch is provided to campers each day.
