Miranda Bedene, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner in Chico, California, with more than 12 years of nursing experience. Her approach is evidence-based, collaborative, inclusive, and centered on helping patients become active, informed participants in their care.

Her clinical interests include preventive and primary care, plant-based nutrition and food as medicine, obesity and metabolic health, hormone and sexual health, and LGBTQIA+ and transgender-affirming care. Miranda has followed a plant-based diet for her own health since 2021 and enjoys helping patients make realistic, sustainable changes without judgment or an expectation of perfection.

As a neurodivergent provider, she especially enjoys caring for neurodiverse patients and creating an environment that respects different communication styles, sensory needs, and ways of experiencing the world. Miranda is also a nursing faculty member, educator, and mother of a large family.
