Erika Graziani, RD
I have been a registered dietitian for more than 21 years. After joining Lee Health in Florida in 2012, I developed a strong interest in plant-based nutrition and the growing evidence supporting whole-food, plant-based (WFPB) diets for the prevention, management, and reversal of chronic disease. I transitioned to a WFPB diet in 2014.
In 2018, I became a facilitator for Lee Health’s CHIP program, leading seven cohorts through 2022. Since 2023, I have facilitated the Pivio program, with my seventh cohort now beginning. I also became certified in lifestyle medicine (DipACLM) in 2019.
My current work includes providing one-on-one outpatient medical nutrition therapy for a variety of conditions and educating the community on nutrition and the WFPB diet. Through this work, I incorporate the pillars of lifestyle medicine and emphasize the role of plant-based nutrition in supporting health and preventing chronic disease. I believe food can be a powerful form of medicine.
