Diego Gonzalez, FNP-C graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science in nursing at the University of Utah – College of Nursing. He received his master of science as a family nurse practitioner at Brigham Young University – College of Nursing. Diego is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He is a native Spanish speaker, is fluent in English, and also knows some Portuguese.

Diego has always had a natural proclivity to care for others and empathize in their struggles. Back in his home country of Uruguay, his grandmother was a physician and his father was a veterinarian, so Diego was always around medicine in one way or another. Diego began pursuing a career in medicine after experiencing some medical issues of his own and has never looked back. Diego enjoys promoting preventive health through evidence-based lifestyle interventions including such as whole food plant based lifestyle, consistent physical activity and meditation.
