Andrea Imes, ARNP, FNP-BC (she/her/hers), earned her undergraduate degree at Des Moines Area Community College and served as a registered nurse for 13 years before completing her Master of Science in Nursing at Frontier Nursing University in 2023.

As an "Army brat," Andrea lived in various locations, including South Dakota, California, and the Netherlands, before choosing to make Des Moines her home. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys weightlifting, cooking, cycling, gardening, and spending time outdoors with her family and friends.

Throughout her nursing career, Andrea has developed a specialized interest in pediatrics, OB/GYN, nutrition, and community health. She is dedicated to providing radically inclusive healthcare and ensuring every patient feels heard, respected, and validated at every stage of their health journey.
